Project #2.  I have been working on an Instrumental Love Songs album for about 2 years.  The reason for recording this album is the overwhelming response to the YouTube Video Endless Love Piano.  I hope to have this album available by Christmas 2014.  It will also be available in CD format and Digital Download Format.

Piano Love Songs

 

Often guests at my piano performances ask, John what is your favorite kind of music to play. I always answer, Romantic Piano Love Songs. Of all of the songs I have recorded for Youtube, the Piano Love Songs have garnered the most views. The most views go to my piano version of Endless Love which just hit 70,000 views this month, but I am hoping that a new video that I recorded this week will one day take over the top spot, I have titled it Piano Love Song (but it is really a cover of the Roberta Flack 1969 Song, First Time Ever I Saw Your Face Piano Version. Thanks to all of the Youtubers who gave their thumbs up (Liked) these videos.

Charlotte Stage and Audio Rentals

I have been in the music business for 24 years, and music runs in the family. Frances Padgett - 1938-2009

We will greatly miss Edith Frances Padgett. My Wife, Lorie's Mother, My Mother-In-Law, Friend, Knowledge-Base, A Spark to light-up any conversation. She passed away this past Saturday around Noon at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord, NC. She has been under Hospice Care for nearly 5 weeks due to failing health and a recent heart attack. Special Thanks to the Hospice Staff Janna & Jen & Melissa. Such wonderful and wise people. Funeral Services are to be held Wednesday, Oct 7, 1:00 PM at the Bible Presbyterian Church, 6237 Rumple Road, Charlotte NC 28262 704-596-2645. Visitation for Friends and Family will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church at 12:00 Noon. Lorie and I appreciate your thoughts prayers as we navigate these waters of bereavement in the coming weeks and months.

Danny Boy Karaoke Sing A Long with Piano

I recorded Danny Boy several years ago, and it has really just been sitting around in a folder on my computer since then. Today as I was preparing for a St. Patricks Day music program for a local Retirement Community, it just hit me that people might enjoy a sing-a-long karaoke with scrolling words.
